PDIS Silent Auction to Benefit NLBMDA Legislative Fund

October 7 & 8, 2009 | Exhibit Hall

Will You Help Ensure NLBMDA Continues to Have an Effective Voice in Washington

With the economy still struggling to recover, the challenges faced by LBM dealers in Washington continue to grow. The ongoing slowdown and the makeup of the new Congress require NLBMDA to be proactive in promoting the interests of the industry in Washington.

NLBMDA is helping to ensure that the voice of LBM dealers is heard when policies affecting home building and sales are crafted. We are pushing hard to enact sensible legal reforms to protect innocent sellers. We are advocating on behalf of workers in small businesses like yours to make sure they are not bullied into joining unions. We are pushing hard for tax policies that will help rev up our economic engine and provide benefits for struggling small business owners.

As the nation's largest and only association dedicated to representing the interests of LBM dealers in Washington, it’s critical that NLBMDA be engaged in that debate.

But we need to know that you support our efforts. This is why we are asking you to make a contribution towards NLBMDA's Legislative Action Fund.

The Cause

The Legislative Action Fund is not a political action committee and promotes no candidates for office.  For this reason, the Legislative Action Fund may accept either personal or corporate contributions.  Your contribution to the Legislative Action Fund provides direct support for NLBMDA's advocacy activities and helps offset the costs of administering the Lumber Dealers Political Action Committee (LuDPAC) http://www.dealer.org/i4a/pages/index.cfm?pageid3323

NLBMDA will be hosting a Silent Auction at the ProDealer Industry Summit October 7-9, 2009 to benefit the Legislative Action Fund.  We are asking for dealers and their suppliers to donate an item to be auctioned off or make a contribution to the Legislative Action Fund for this purpose.

Please download the Legislative Action Fund Contribution form to make a contribution. Thank you in advance for your generosity!  Additional information about the ProDealer Industry Summit is available at http://www.dealer.org.
