Dennis Stine is a graduate of Sulphur High School, McNeese State University with a degree in Accounting as well as a Master of Business Administration, and a graduate of Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Sr. Executive Program.
Dennis is the CEO of Stine Lumber Company, a family-owned chain of home-improvement stores with locations across the state of Louisiana as well as in Mississippi. He has an extensive background of community and government involvement, having served as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, and was commissioner of administration for the State of Louisiana from 1988 to 1992.
Mr. Stine has previously served as a board member on the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, Louisiana Gaming Control Board, Louisiana Recovery Authority, Louisiana Healthcare Authority, Interim Port Director for the Port of Lake Charles, former Chairman of Christus St. Patrick Hospital and Chairman of the Council for a Better Louisiana and Vice Chairman of Christus Health System Board. He currently serves on the board of Red de Salud Christus in Santiago, Chili.
Dennis is married to Marla Stine; they have four children and eight grandchildren.
