For 39 years, Scott has been a dedicated member of HBAK and the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville. A respected leader in the industry, he served as the 2019 President of the Building Industry Association and has been a member of their Board of Directors for 19 years. Scott was honored as Builder of the Year in 2022. As the owner of Welch Builders & Remodeling, he brings expertise in custom home construction, remodeling, and land development.

Beyond his professional achievements, Scott is a devoted family man, sharing his life with his wonderful wife, Jill, their two children, and three beloved grandchildren.
