Rick joined Zuern Building Products in 2010 and advanced into his current role as Director of IT. Over the past 15 years, Zuern has grown from a 3-location lumber yard to an enterprise with lumber yards, sales offices, millwork manufacturing, and a distribution warehouse across 10 locations in Wisconsin. Technology adoption has played an integral role in the company’s growth and meeting the continuously evolving needs of the business and its customers.
Serving as a member of their ERP software’s Advisory Council and an active member of the related user group communities, Rick is a strong advocate for collaboration between LBM dealers with the goal of advancing the technology solutions available to all dealers.
A hands-on technology leader, Rick dives deep into the internals of systems with knowledge of multiple operating systems, ERP’s and programming languages and a focus on seamlessly integrating and maximizing the return on investment of all platforms they utilize.
